Oil on canvas, first canvas, painting depicting St. Mark's Square with a frontal view of the famous Basilica and the large bell tower. The style is rooted in the Venetian vedutista tradition; the composition is centered with extreme perspective precision, while the scene is animated by small, meticulously depicted figures. The 20th-century carved and gilded wooden frame is beautifully decorated, with some signs of aging.
