Previous owner bought this stunning bed new, stationed the bed in a guest bedroom, and did not move it for over forty years. The right side of the bed was positioned near a large picture window (full sunlight) which resulted in some lightening of the stained finish in marked areas. Buyer could easily touch up the lighter areas with wood stain however the slight discoloration does not detract from the beauty of this well preserved canopy bed. Our shop purchased at an upscale estate sale outside of Dallas and the bed is currently stored in a climate controlled facility. It is truly a lovely canopy bed and would simply steal the show in any bedroom. less
