This is a wonderful piece depicting a traditional scene but in a vivid and bold mid century style. It comes unframed so you can frame it and display it as you please. We were told this hand painted piece was brought to America by way of Japan in the 1950's. It was painted in the Fuji Five Lakes area... a region at the base of Mount Fuji, Japan, just North of the famous mountain. The area comprises of Yamanaka, Kawaguchi, Saiko, Shōji and Motosu lakes. This idyllic scene shows a mountainous waterfall in the foreground, surrounded by autumn colored trees and a traditional Japanese house in the background. All is surrounded by a strikingly blue water and sky landscape. Excellent condition, ready to be framed / displayed!

art is 14" x 8.5"
art is currently held in protective backing and clear front that measures 18" x 12"
You would simply remove the art from the protective backing and clear front sleeve in order to frame it
