Copper, brass & metal sculpture by C. Jere, signed lower right and has original Artisan House sticker on the back. Dated 2006, could not find any other examples of this Backgammon board, a rare find. Direct from a local estate, has some light signs of age and use but this looks great on the wall and displays good as found. Large scale, hand-cut and torched. Please study photos and read full condition report, let me know if you have any questions.
approximately 31" tall, 51" wide, about 6" deep overall.
Good condition-looks great. Solid and structurally sound, no loose joints, no major bends, no broken welds. The triangular pieces have layers of brass and copper over metal pieces underneath. Please note one of the copper pieces is simply missing, the metal piece underneath has been "painted" or touched up to look more copper-see close ups. A few of the other triangular pieces show minor separation at the point but no loose or missing pieces-see close up. There are some tarnishing lines showing on the silver metal, for example around outside of the board and the hinge-see close up. Makes a nice appearance, displays well on the wall. Please refer to photos for the best description and send any questions you might have. Thanks for looking.
