The subtle differences between the versions … Read more This classic design desk lamp, a Jdell Model 6551, dates back to the 1930s. The subtle differences between the versions can be recognized, among other things, by the lettering on the lampshade; here, only "Original Idell" is embossed. The company name "Kaiser" was added in later models. The cover of the ball joint on the lamp base is almost hemispherical, and the lampshade is significantly more delicate than in later versions.
