A rare collector's item of this size, it comes with its original certificate of guarantee and box. Ideal for lovers of artistic glass, Ligurian craftsmanship, or vintage decorative sculptures.

The work depicts a slender ballerina in a classical pose, crafted using refined glassblowing and lampworking techniques.

Amanzio Bormioli (Altare, Savona) is one of the most important Ligurian glassmakers of the late 20th century. A descendant of an ancient family of glassmakers active since the 16th century, Bormioli perpetuated the traditional techniques of Altare through lampwork.

His creations—goblets, ballerinas, perfume bottles, crucifixes—are now considered true works of artisanal art. His workshop and school are part of the cultural heritage of Altare glass, recognized throughout Europe.

Excellent overall condition, with a small, non-permeable inclusion on the back, due to the craftsmanship of the piece, as shown in red.

Entirely handcrafted and finished in Italy in the 1960s and 1970s.
