Artwork sold with frame (72 x 93 cm) Leo Klein von Diepold (1865–1944) was a German painter and graphic artist associated with the Düsseldorf School. Born in Dortmund into an artistic family, he studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and the Academy in Antwerp. His oeuvre includes naturalistic landscapes and figure compositions, often rendered in a style influenced by Impressionism. Between 1907 and 1921, he lived in Noordwijk aan Zee, Netherlands, where he produced notable works such as "Garten in Noordwijk, Haus Offem." Klein von Diepold exhibited regularly from 1901, including at the Berlin Secession. He passed away in Berlin in 1944. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
