This chest features beautiful old ironwork, including the corners, hinges, and handles. We cleaned it, restored it where necessary, and applied a coat of wax. The wood on the bottom of the chest has some water damage. We removed the weak parts and then applied a thick varnish to preserve it. A beautiful, authentic example, its compact size making it easy to place in any room. See less
