This Danish mid century teak sideboard from the 1950s shows the quality of mid-century carpentry with solid teak details, especially … Read more This Danish mid century teak sideboard from the 1950s shows the quality of mid-century carpentry with solid teak details, especially in nicely rounded egges and sculptural base. It features four drawers with round solid teak handles and two compartments with sliding doors symmetrically placed on both sides, one with classic wooden shelf, other meant to be to used as a bar cabinet. The glass on the bottom and nicely shaped middle shelf allow to store bottles and makes it easier for cleaning and maintance. The body of the sideboard is masterpiece of various interesting details, espeically solid wood moldings in darker shade contrasting with a lighter colour of the veneer.

The sideboard has been fully renovated. Drawers are clean run smoothly and unscented, all parts finished with several layers of Danish oil. Base is detachable, providing more convenient transport. See less
