Rare table lamp model Giso 425 designed by W.H. Gispen for Gispen in 1931. This is the first version with pull switches. It was made from 1931 to 1939. In 1939 the pull switches were replaced by a switch in the base. This Gispen desk lamp is still in good original condition, with normal traces of use that match the age. It has a bronze colored cap and base and still has the original electric wiring. We have left the wiring original because it is a collector’s item, but we can replace the wiring on request. Dimensions: h x d (cap) = 45 x 34 cm. Source: Gispen Lamps catalogue 1931, page 72 and book Gispen tubular furniture and lighting 1920-1040 page 95.
