These beautiful hand dipped ombre beeswax candles are made by master candle makers Jose and Petra Hernandez in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca, and partner with Kristine Michaelson Correa of Paz Home. Jose and Petra are recognized for modernizing traditional candle designs while maintaining the process and quality used by José’s family for generations. They have worked with some of the most prominent museums in Mexico City including Casa Barragán, and artists like Danh Vo who exhibited a piece incorporating José and Petra’s candles at Art Basel in June 2019 through Kurimanzutto gallery.
