This 24" square painting on cradled wood is a depiction of an event I witnessed when I was an art … Read more This 24" square painting on cradled wood is a depiction of an event I witnessed when I was an art in residence at Yellowstone National Park. It was fascinating to see a coyote nip at the heels of a mama wolf, belly full of ground squirrels to be regurgitated for her pups. Wiley coyote hoped that the wolf might upchuck a free meal. It didn't work the time I watched. But it was interesting to see the behavior none the less. Along with all of my art this abstract painting started off with many colors, marks and shapes. Then it was edited down to this scene. It comes with sides painted black and ready to hang as is. See less
