A pair of ceramic wall sconces produced by Alcyone Ceramics of Marostica (Vicenza, Italy), a traditional artisan workshop renowned for its decorative ceramic pieces. Created in the 1950s, the wall sconces showcase the style of Luigi Carron, a prominent figure in the Venetian art scene, a sculptor, and instructor of applied arts. The mask Carron chose to characterize this pair of wall sconces is among the most iconic in the rich tradition of Italian folk theater: Pulcinella, with his white robe adorned with tassels.
