The entire file cabinet is constructed with a premium grade of tiger oak lumber that has a beautiful medium golden or amber oak finish. With some exposure to daylight the color illuminates the bold quartersawn tiger oak grain bringing out the full depth of beauty that this file offers. The case is designed with a raised panel structure on the back and for both side panels which allow the frame and wooden panels to gradually adjust to seasonal changes. The "Cope and Stick" profiled joinery selected to bring the raised panel frames together is the strongest technique known for building frames.
