Chess … Read more Rare game, cocktail, telephone table with integrated chess board, 50s Germany. Retains the original paper label on the reverse. Chess board is made of a harmonious blend of wood veneers. Body is made of solid wood with a finished edge and intermediate shelf. Angled solid wood legs with polished brass hardware and feet. Wood and hardware in great condition showing only minimal wear commensurate with age and use. Table top is coated in a urethane that shows wear from age and use - this can be left as is or refreshed/refinished. This table can be knocked down for shipment if preferred by the buyer. Display, use ready object.
