This modern, vintage 20th century occasional table has an Art Deco spirit in its angular brass frame of two tiers wrapped in faux red mahogany veneer. The thick upper surface is trimmed in brass with two studs on each end (an industrial touch), framing the linoleum surface designed to appear as wood–a practical feature should one want to use this table as a small dry bar. Four brass rods support the top, rising from the lower tier with the same materials. Please note that the lower shelf is not attached to the frame; flipping it over reveals the maker’s signature, “George Perrier” dated 1965.
