A simple yet elegant hibachi table from the Taishō period, crafted from warm-toned wood with a beautifully visible grain pattern.
Dimensions: height 29 cm, width 78 cm, depth 57 cm.
At the center sits the original copper fire bowl, fitted with a traditional cast-iron gotoku—a metal trivet once used to hold a kettle above the charcoal.
While this piece originally served as a heat source in Japanese homes, it now functions as a characterful and versatile interior element.
Use it as a unique plant stand, side table, or low display piece in a modern or eclectic setting.
