The work, signed and dated "Año de 1867," subtly captures the presence and nobility of the figure. Dimensions: – Frame: 200 x 118 cm – Canvas: 185 x 104 cm A Spanish nobleman and high-ranking military man, Eduardo de Sada was also Baron of San Juan del Castillo, Count of Cobatillas, Captain decorated with two First Class Crosses of the Order of San Fernando, Commander of the Order of Charles III, and Gentleman of the Bedchamber. The family crest is depicted in the upper left corner of the painting, reinforcing the heraldic symbolic nature of the composition.
