While the construction and design elements are consistent with Peabody’s known work—particularly the angled legs, sculpted seat form, and upholstery profile—we have not been able to locate a definitive catalog reference to confirm the attribution. The fabric shows some surface pilling but appears … moreThe chairs are in well used vintage condition overall and structurally sound. The fabric shows some surface pilling but appears free of any holes or tears. The seat foam is somewhat degraded and could benefit from replacement. Additionally, the straps beneath the seats are worn and sagging, which affects support. The legs have scattered small marks and areas of paint rub, all clearly shown in the photos. While the chairs are usable as-is, we strongly recommend reupholstery to restore full comfort and appearance. Please see photos for full conditioned details. less
