Three center medallions within the vintage Persian rug encase flowers yet are also surrounded by florals occupying the space outside the trio that comprises this traditional pattern. A small, center medallion features a black background with blooms in varying shades of red from more-orange shades to deep wine, with pops of blue and teal as the flowers’ pistils. The middle medallion was created on a red background, with cream blooms that feature leaves in black, deep red and orange, along with teal accents. An outer medallion relies on a cream background that features flowers comprising teal pistils, red-orange petals, with leaves comprising this selection of colors. Bordered by a geometric pattern, the outer medallion is nestled by flowers within the space at the four corners of the piece. This flat-weave vintage kilim features a flower border along the entire outside edge, framed by a connected, red-ball pattern along each side.
