The thick, hefty glass (6 lbs.) cylinder shade is designed in the same manner as the Prismatic glass patterns found in similar Holophane Brand glass shade designs from the mid 20th century. The inner globe socket light hardware is a unique Prescolite patented design that is comprised of 3 articulating expanding arms that allows the assembly to be inserted through the glass opening, then expanded to create an anchor within the shade allowing for the complete absence of any obtrusive mounting hardware resulting in a purely minimal and streamlined aesthetic. These impressive hanging lamp are in exceptional barely used original condition completely intact, fully functional and ready for any hardwired installation. No apparent signs of any long term usage, wear or blemishes to the glass or hardware aside from some slight age discoloration to the hanging power cords., The sockets and wiring are original and all have been inspected and tested to be clean, safe and functional. The "Prescolite" manufactures label is clearly evident on the inside of each canopy. The lamps general shade dimensions are 5" width X 9" high weighing a hefty 6 lbs each, the overall hanging length is around 24" long and can be shortened easily for your unique installation. This listing is for ONE complete fixture ONLY but there are 2 identical assemblies available.
