This extraordinary example of Saharan craftsmanship combines functionality and aesthetic refinement, with tribal geometric patterns engraved in the natural fiber. Tuareg mats were traditionally used to cover the floors of nomadic tents, providing insulation and beauty. The large dimensions (445x200 cm) make this vintage rug perfect for design environments, showrooms or luxury hotels, as a floor rug or wall covering. The warm and earthy tones, obtained with natural dyes, evoke the atmosphere of the African desert. In good condition, it shows only slight signs of wear consistent with its age.
