The handset, with a unique split design for the earpiece and mouthpiece, is mounted on a tall, central cradle. The body of the phone is a rectangular block of polished onyx with decorative brass filigree on the front. A classic rotary dial with Arabic numerals is centered on the front face. The entire piece rests on four elegant, cast brass feet. The overall style is opulent and decorative, reminiscent of late 19th-century European designs but with a mid-20th-century functional rotary dial.
