In nickel-plated bronze.

Together with its original box, wrapping paper, styrofoam, paperwork and documents, and other contents.

Originally cast in 1980.

The reverse of this model is marked Berrocal and 1701.

Berrocal (b. 1933 - d. 2006) was a Spanish figurative and abstract sculptor. Best known for his puzzle sculptures like the Mini Maria offered here. His work was both artistically and technologically on the cutting edge of his day. His insatiable curiousity drove him to combine both natural sciences experience along with his passion for art and let him to develop casting technologies that were simply revolutionary in his time.

Berrocal's was at the top of the art world for decades. His first exhibition was in 1964 and his final in 2004, exhibiting internationally for much of those 4 decades.

Simply a wonderful, incredibly rare find retaining so much of the original packaging!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
With expected wear to the box and paper. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
