These two Art Deco, blue-frosted glass vases, with their copper wall mounts and floral motifs are gorgeous! Kopper Kraft designed and crafted the wall sconces (see maker’s stamp in pictures), to tastefully reflect the Art Deco style. The emphasis was on geometric forms, symmetry and the use of modern materials—such as glass and metal!
Oddly enough, these vases were also used to hold tiny, floral bouquets in cars (1920’s), as they were screwed into the side walls of the vehicle! No matter “where” they were used, they added a touch of elegance and sophistication!
The wall plates measure: 3.5”W x .25”D x 9.5”H
