Several tiles have chips and a few have visible cracks, adding to the authentic patina of the piece. The outer edge of the metal tile pan has substantial rusting—much of the perimeter has rusted through entirely. However, the underside of the pan, which has been protected from the elements, remains intact and rust-free. As a result, the table is still structurally sound. The rusted areas can be repaired if desired, or left as-is to preserve the aged character. less
