Has a fine book matched veneer top with a finely slit rosewood veneer surface on the column. Done like a tambor door to be able to bend and wrap around the entire base. Excellent quality rosewood was used, and the grain is magnificent. The photos really capture the wonderful warm wood tones of the piece. Very sturdy and quite heavy. This pedestal could hold support an art object of well over 50 Lbs. Lane Style Number 1205-66 and Serial Number 2961101. See less
