The moon is encrusted with seed pearls that are bead set and graduate in size. The three bars are wrapped on the ends, topped with ball finials that give a nice finish to the piece. The brooch comes in its original box from W.B. Pidduck & Son, making this a very giftable item.

W.B. Pidduck and Son was a goldsmith and diamond merchant from the early Victorian era, founded in 1841. It is still in business today.

The brooch measures 1 7/8” x 9/16” and weighs 3.6 grams. It contains 11 natural antique seed pearls that range in size from 2 mm - 0.75 mm. It is marked as 15k gold, and has a jump ring on the back that allows it to hang from a chain.
