glass in perfect condition, silver-plated with wear.
wmf "b". The letter b designates the base metal used for the silver plating, that is, an alloy with tin (britannia metall in german, "b"), (1886-1903).

the wurtemberg glass, ceramics, and crystal factory in geislingen/steige was founded in 1853.
in 1880, it merged with ritter & sohn, introducing silver-plated metal items into its production.
in 1907, under the influence of albert mayer, the floral forms and figures of french art nouveau were adapted to german modernism, with its heroic historicist character, using designs by renowned german artists. This piece has an attribution mark,
