It is meant to be the new home for plants with roots. There are four types, all of which can be filled from both sides, allowing for endless combinations of cacti and palm trees. The new edition is ready to order in brushed aluminium. The unpainted surface shows the raw material. Each plant pot is hand-turned and hand-brushed and is reminiscent of an untreated industrial piece. The slightly reflective metal surface creates a beautiful contrast to the fresh green leaves. The new planter edition is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. For exterior use, the rubber plug should be removed to prevent rainwater from accumulating. The surface is not lacquered, so the material ages naturally but is resistant to corrosion. Ada planters like the sun as well as shade; they most enjoy living in larger groups. Behind the llot llov brand is the studio for product and interior design and the producer of furniture, objects, lighting, and surfaces. Since their foundation in 2006 by ania bauer and jacob brinck, the two berlin-based author designers have established themselves internationally. One of their recognizable features is the reinterpretation of traditional arts and crafts brought into a contemporary design context. An example of this is osis, an innovative surface finish using salt crystals and colour pigments on wood, with which they won the german materials prize, among other awards. They use osis as well as the terrazzo glacier, which was introduced in 2018 and is made of nail polish bottles, for their own designs, but they also supply interior designers worldwide. Glacier, like other designs, upcycles high-quality materials, such as those from the cosmetics industry. Their objects are manufactured in europe, often in social workshops, and distributed directly by llot llov. Llot llov produces exclusive furniture and objects for private or corporate clients and also manages interior design projects such as hotels or offices.
