Marked “LF/5/1” in red—modeled after the 17th-century De Metaale Pot factory—the piece reflects Martel’s refined and historically grounded approach to the Delft revival tradition.

The vase is hand-painted in the distinguished cashmere palette: iron-red, cobalt blue, verdant green, and touches of golden ochre on a warm ivory ground. Chinoiserie-inspired scenes depict Eastern figures, boats, pagodas, and stylized foliage framed by ornate foliate borders—blending Chinese Famille Verte influences with French Baroque detail.
