The Wishbone Chair was Carl Hansen's most celebrated design. Originally designed by Hans Wegner, it is light, attractive and comfortable. It's straightforward and timeless appearance requires more than 100 steps to make, in addition to requiring 120 meters of paper cord for the seat (all hand woven).
It has been in continuous production since 1950. This set is in used condition. There is some loss to the frames (see close up images) and a small water stain on the cording on one seat and an even smaller one of the ottoman. Structurally sound. This listing included 2 chairs and one ottoman. Dimensions in listing are for a single chair (the dimensions for both chairs are identical). The dimensions on the ottoman are: 20"W x 15"D x 16.5"H (height of rush). The corner supports on the ottoman are 18"H. The ottoman bears no label. Each of the chairs has the original Carl Hansen label (see images).
