It was used to store Chinese herbal medicine in organic leaves or seeds. Culturally, Apothecary cabinet is popular because its mandarin pronunciation shares the meaning of prosperity and wealthiness. This cabinet was very balanced in design and excellently maintained. Dark brown lacquer body has highlights of amber labels of herbal medicine. Each of the 20 drawers has an original round fitting.
