Original lithograph by Jean Lurçat in 1953, depicting a stylized saber-wielding rooster.
Lithographic print on grainy wove paper, hand-signed in red ink in the lower margin. This work reflects the modernist and symbolic aesthetic of Lurçat, a major figure in the 20th-century French tapestry revival.
