A good large 19th century antique French giltwood Louis XVI crested mirror, circa 1850.
The mirror having a large scrolled crest flanked with fruiting foliate, the outside border having an egg & dart frieze, to the top corners are a pair of oval floral motifs, the interior frame having a beaded border.
The mirror plate is a 20th century replacement, the silvered mirror surface is in excellent condition, the mirror frame is also in very good condition all the gesso moldings are present and the original aged gilding has a warm & mellow patina.
