To find vintage lamps at this level of design and fabrication is highly unusual. To find faceted acrylic pieces of this age and quality in this superb condition is even more unusual and desirable. The acrylic bases have an outside wire, indicating a French origin. The shades are original, showing some discoloration and wear. The acrylic has acquired a couple of scratches, as shown in the photos. Because of their purity of design, this pair of lamps could be incorporated into just about any design aesthetic from mid-century modern to a minimalist zen-inspired to a fine traditional antiques filled space.
