I believe this piece … Read more This gorgeous vintage dresser mirror features a curving wooden frame, heavy mirror backing, and finial details. I believe this piece to have been from the 1940s judging from the design and craftsmanship. Solid and sturdy, this thick mirror has only a few minor spots of fogging from age (as shown in the last image), framed in curving, heavy wood (I believe this is walnut) with virtually no wear, scratching or chipping. Other than the minor fogging spots to the glass the only wear is a small scratch alongside one short side of the base, a few very minor spots of chipping to the front base near the foot, and a dab of old glue only visible from the back side where one of the finials was repaired by a prior owner. The finials do lift off but sit securely. The mirror itself measures about 13" x 17.5", the base measures about 21" across, 7" deep, and sits about 1.5" off the table. Swing mechanism works wonderfully, and mirror can be tightened to sit at most any angle. See less
