This wild rabbit strikes me as being clever and playful, although it is having a contemplative moment right now. The wide open sky of the rabbit’s home can be seen reflected in the eye.
The pattern around the rabbit is my own design. Living in Lisbon, I’m surrounded by buildings covered in colorful patterned tiles. I’m inspired by that, and I enjoy creating my own patterns.
This is a contemporary oil painting on canvas. The painting measures 4.75 x 13.25in/12 x 34cm, and the canvas has a depth of 1.5in/ 3.8cm.
The painting is unframed and is signed on the back. The sides of the canvas are painted dark gray, so that the painting can be hung without being framed. Signed by Maker
