i’m fascinated by crows and ravens because they’re beautiful and amazingly smart. When i paint them, i usually try to capture their intelligence.

the pattern behind the raven is my own design, and is inspired by art nouveau. In lisbon, where i live, many of the buildings are covered in colorful patterned tiles. I love being surrounded by their patterns, and i enjoy creating them myself.

this painting is sold unframed, and will need a frame and glass to protect it. The painting measures 6 x 6in / 15 x 15cm. Signed by maker See less
