Resting on six legs, including two central legs, to keep the top flat over time, two crosspieces on the outer legs help keep the whole thing firmly in place. They won't interfere too much with the sides if you want to place chairs at the ends, as the overhanging top provides ample space.
The top is made of six planks, the full length, with a beautiful overall patina to the wood, with its small flaws and imperfections adding to its charm.
This table is rather handcrafted; it was used in a large clothing workshop.
Completely restored, sanded, treated, lightly stained to bring out the grain and patina, then protected with a clear matte varnish. Please refer to the numerous photos for general condition, patina, imperfections, etc.
