This vintage Mapelec industrial explosion-proof wall light was originally designed for use in hazardous industrial settings. Made in France, it features a robust beige cast iron body, a thick glass dome, and a protective metal cage.
Unlike many industrial lights of this type, this model is equipped with a standard socket, making it suitable for regular household use without modification. The lamp retains its original industrial details, including the red Mapelec manufacturer’s plate and sturdy conduit entry.
