Egodo Emamiwata is a striking work by the renowned Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakpeya, dated 1976. The relief was executed in metallic foil and is marked on the reverse as an "Artist Proof" (AP 9/10) – a rare artist's proof from an exclusive series of only ten. Onobrakpeya, one of the pioneers of modern African art, combines spiritual and cultural motifs with innovative use of materials. An authentic collector's item with strong expressive power.
