This rare work, entitled Mamiwata Voyage I, was created in 1976 by renowned Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakpeya. It is an embossed relief in metal foil, signed and numbered (3/30) on the reverse. Onobrakpeya is one of the most important representatives of modern African art. This work is part of a limited edition of only 30 copies and bears the characteristic signature of the artist, who combines traditional African myths with contemporary techniques.
The relief may show minimal dents due to its age.
