Crowned with … Read more A sumptuous Louis XVI style mahogany chest of drawers with speckled maple marquetry, crafted in the mid-20th century. Crowned with gray Breccia marble, this chest of drawers features two large drawers and is decorated on the front with a Greek urn adorned with flowers. This light wood marquetry is enhanced by the speckled maple veneer, itself framed by a mahogany veneer. The two drawers each have two ring handles with rosettes. Its two uprights are adorned at the top with chiseled bronze fittings. The curved lower crosspiece is adorned with a beautiful bronze scrollwork trim. Its slender spindle legs end in brass sabots.
This functional chest of drawers will captivate with its rich Louis XVI style decor, adding character to your interior, whether classic or contemporary.
