Mario Molinari, born in Coazze (Turin) in 1930, began his career as director of the Sertorio paper mill in Coazze and then transformed himself into a pure sculptural essence after three years of drawing lessons with Maestro Raffaele Pontecorvo. His vast artistic career saw him, starting from the Sixties, among the protagonists and founders of the surrealist group "Surfanta". In the following years he had a constant presence in Galleries, Museums and European and International Foundations and then debuted with outdoor scenographic interventions.
