It features four drawers with exposed crossbars and a central flap revealing a niche and three drawers. The flap, upholstered in new red leather adorned with a blind-stamped vignette and an elegant central gilded motif, combines writing comfort with aesthetic prestige. The curved uprights and legs are enhanced with finely chiseled bronze trim and fittings, while a bronze ornament highlights the lower crossbar of the piece. The whole is crowned with royal red marble, which gracefully follows the curved lines of the piece. All the locks are original and fully functional, accompanied by superb ornate keys and finely crafted keys. A remarkable piece, a testament to the quality of 19th-century French craftsmanship.
