Elegant art deco sculpture of an athletic scouting / watching male figure by jean de roncourt from france around 1930. Very good original condition, greenish patinated spelter / zinc cast. Standing on the thick, stepped original portoro marble plinth. Artist: jean de roncourt (incised signature in the marble plinth) a shield crest on the front with personal dedication “from the members of the staff battery, brest in october 1941”.
