Barbedienne & Cie. Rising 15.5 inches in height, the piece is composed of solid bronze with a beautifully aged patina and natural verdigris.

The elegant architecture features a tapered finial above four scrolled arms with candle cups, all anchored on a wide, domed base. The mark “F. BARBEDIENNE & CIE” is clearly stamped on the underside — confirming its creation at one of the most celebrated bronze foundries of the 19th century.

Barbedienne’s workshop was renowned for producing high-quality bronze editions after the great sculptors of antiquity and the 19th century. Their works were frequently exhibited at international expositions and remain prized by collectors today.
