The vibrant ruby red glass is … Read more Charming mid-century Murano-attributed ashtray, hand-blown using the sommerso technique—a signature of Venetian glass artistry. The vibrant ruby red glass is infused with suspended silver foil (foglia d’argento), creating luminous depth and shimmer. Its ruffled, organic form and optical clarity are consistent with Murano works from the 1960s–70s.

Unsigned, but the quality, color layering, and hand-formed silhouette—along with the polished pontil and absence of mold seams—support a Murano attribution. Small chip to base (photographed) does not detract from display.
