classic ch37 armchair by hans j. Wegner, designed in 1962 and manufactured in denmark. The chair is part of the famous ch chair series and is wegner's interpretation of a minimalist, functional dining chair with subtle details.

made of solid oak, the chair has been expertly refurbished: the wood has a fresh varnish and shows a natural patina with light signs of wear, mainly in the lower section. The seat is hand-woven with new danish paper cord – in keeping with the original.

the ergonomically designed armrests, the clean lines, and the balance between proportion and stability make this chair a classic example of wegner's uncompromising design – timeless, honest, and functional.
